Wandering Women ~ Imbolc Walk ~ Sunday 1st February

If gallivanting through the magical countryside of Sussex is your thing come join our inclusive women's walking club.

For our next walk with Wandering Women we're celebrating the arrival of Imbolc, marking the beginning of spring and the midpoint between the winter solstice and the spring equinox!

Meeting in Lewes we'll weave up into to the hills together, noticing the new glimmers of spring along the way. Each rambler will receive a hand made mini zine on the history/folklore of Imbolc and a bundle of rushes to make a St Brigids Cross to take home.

Come meet some new pals, spend some time outdoors, observe the changing seasons!

Walk info: Mount Caburn circular

Meet location: Lewes

Date/Time: Sunday 1st February AM (Meeting time/location confirmed by email beforehand)

Distance: 10km

The route is a 10km loop from Lewes Train station up towards Mount Caburn, along the hill tops before heading back along and down through valley and combe, ending for an optional coffee/drink/snack in Lewes.

~Each rambler will receive hand made mini zine on the history/folklore of Imbolc

~ 1x bundle of rushes each to make a St Brigids Cross at home

~ Guided walk, come discover some new Sussex paths/routes

~ Join the community of local like minded rambling folk, fellow hill heathens, bog hoppers and lovers of the land, folklore and the seasons

~ As always a plethora of the finest M&M club seasonal stickers...
