Wandering Women ~ Birthday Walk!
Wanderers...ramblers...heathens...friends
It's finally here...it's our Magick and Moss one year anniversary!!
One year ago we stood atop the Hastings East Hill in the brisk March winds, boots laced, cagoule at the ready, wondering what crazed, wonderful assortment of loons (if any) would possibly be interested in such a venture. Had we lost it, what were we thinking?!
Low and behold, over the brow appeared not one.. not two but eight bright eyed ramblers, ready to wade through swamp, weave along stream, poke around hermit cave, climb hill and tump, (collectively swoon a grumpy pub landlord) and finally drink a well earned pint, together!
Wandering Women has grown and evolved far beyond our wildest dreams and the community of folk who have turned up again and again, rain come shine has blown us away. A community of welcoming, supportive, talented humans all with a shared interest in reconnecting with the land, summoning community, sharing knowledge, folklore... snacks! Embracing the otherworldly side of rambling, exploring paths well trodden, lined with history, celebrating the seasons and simply creating reason to get outside into nature, together.
Countless walks, workshops, collaborations, celebrations, seasons, snacks, laughs, all the weathers, mini folklore zines, so many stickers and a whole load more.....so here's to another year to come!
Enough waffle. COME YE
