Summer Amble ~ Sunday 2nd August ~ Wandering Women (go Pea Throwing)

If gallivanting through the magical countryside of Sussex is your thing come join our inclusive women's walking club!

For our next Wandering Women Summer Amble, we're heading over the hills (well one rather large, rather famous hill... nods to Mount Caburn) and far away for a merry Sussex knees up jaunt from Glynde to Lewes, ending for a pint at The Lewes Arms, who are holding their legendary World Pea Throwing Championships!

Come meet some new pals, spend some time outdoors, observe the changing seasons, learn some new routes, maybe throw a few peas???

Walk info: Glynde ~ Lewes (The route is non-circular but train connections between locations)

Meet location: Glynde (Exact meeting time/location confirmed by email beforehand)

Date/Time: Sunday 2nd August 10:30 AM

Distance: 7km

The route is a short 7km and and has a couple of big hills but we'll walk at a sociable pace. Please make sure you wear comfy footwear and bring plenty of snacks and a waterproof/layers in case of weather changes.

~ Join an inclusive community local like minded rambling folk, fellow hill heathens, bog hoppers and lovers of the land, folklore and the seasons
